February WriteMotivation

So, I’m trying something new. 🙂 I signed up for February’s #WriteMotivation. If you’re unfamiliar with it, it’s basically just a list of goals you give yourself to complete at the end of the month. Then, you break down those goals into smaller, weekly goals, which you then blog about at least once a week.

I like the idea of self imposed deadlines, but sometimes they get away from me. I’m hoping that by participating, the internet can hold me accountable.

Anyway, so for this February, these are my writing goals:

1) Write the first draft of the Anthology short story. (Approx. 3k-8k words)

2) Finish plotting Cloudy with a Chance of Satan

3) Write 10k-15k on Cloudy

4) Blog 3x a week (and with my weekly #WriteMotivation check in, that’s really just 2x a week)

Bonus: Clean my house. (I write/work better when my place is clean, and frankly, my place is atrocious right now. I really, really need to clean my house.)

I think all of these are pretty achievable. 🙂
